Ogier leads WRC Monte Carlo Rallye after two full days of competition

Hi, friends!

It was a hard day for top drivers at Monte Carlo Rallye because Sisteron special stage again took it's toll. Yeah, Sisteron stage is very well known in the rallying community because of the treacherous and various conditions - dry tarmac, snow, ice, black ice etc, and all of that in the 20km of road.

Hyundai top driver and season 2019 World Rally Champion Ott Tanak took gamble again with only one spare tire and he soon punctured one of them. He later went off in the left corner and punctured another. Because of that off, he had a damaged oil cooler and had to retire from the day. If you ask me, this was another stupid mistake by him because he is taking too much risks with the number of spare wheels. Just to remind you that he already had that kind of mistakes in the past ruing his own results but also his team's as well.

Another Hyundai driver Thierry Neuville had a miserable day with broken strut and damper and because of that he lost a lot time. But the thing is that he is still in the rally because of his mechanical knowledge which is obviously very important in the world of rallying.

There is not much different at the top. We still have two Sebs but today they changed their places - Ogier is now in front of Loeb. I think that was all down to the time that Seb Ogier was in a top WRC car all this time and Loeb didn't have a single WRC rally last season. Although, Loeb is doing brilliantly whole weekend and tomorrow is another day. He will hardly take a win but it's nor over until it's over at Monte, so it is still possible because that guy won nine World Rally Championships and that means something.

Craig Breen was 3rd today and he is now driving carefully. I heard a comment that Loeb should give his place to Breen if this finish the way it is. I never heard something so stupid like this. He should earn the 2nd place at Monte, nothing else.

Kalle Rovanpera improved a lot today with some fastest special stage times. I think that this was because he was starting first today and the road wasn't that dirty as it was for the guys behind him.

Elfyn Evans was the one who lost the most today. He went of in one of the corners early today and it took a lot of time to get back onto the road with the help of fans, of course. That's rallying, of course.

Gus Greensmith was doing good for M-Sport Ford today with the fact that he had big misfire problems. This means that M-Sport Ford has three cars in the top 5. Unbelievable.

Today is a big day. Two Sebs will decide a winner of Monte 2022 and before that you can watch a long VIDEO coverage at the following link:
