Ogier won WRC Monte Carlo Rallye 2023

Hi, friends!

Eight-time World Rally champion Seb Ogier scored another win at legendary Monte Carlo Rallye and this is his record ninth win at this rally. He is now one more ahead of his compatriot Seb Loeb who has eight wins.

Loeb already sent him a greetings with the wish for another duel at Monte. Guys made an agreement that next year's edition would be a great opportunity for the fight.

Seb Ogier and Kalle Rovanpera drive for the same manufacturer Toyota and their car Yaris Rally1 is the best rally car at the moment which proves their 1-2 finish at Monte. It seems that guys from Hyundai and M-Sport Ford have some work to do in the following weeks and months.

Thierry Neuville is the number one at Hyundai and his 3rd place overall was kinda expected if you ask me. He knows that car upside-down, has the most testing and racing km plus he won at Monte in 2020. The other two guys - Dani Sordo and Esapekka Lappi finished 7th and 8th with some confidence problems after all.

Ott Tanak came back to his old team of M-Sport Ford and finished 4th overall. He just needs some time to learn the Ford Puma Rally1 and to do some fine tunes of the car. The good times from the special stages will come sooner or later. His team-mate Pierre-Louise Loubet had disappointing rally with the retirement and this can't be good for him or the team. His co-driver Nicolas Gilsoul is a classy co-driver with lot of experience and thirteen WRC wins under his belt. He could help Loubet to regainhis confidence back.

In the end I must say that I was terribly disappointed because our entry haven't been put on the entry list after all the work we have done ahead of the rally and the season itself.
