Onboard rally video of the day - Burns with Peugeot 206 WRC at Rally Sweden

Today we ho into the season 2003 which was also the last season of Richard Burns who was also World Rally Champion for season 2001.

He won the WRC championship in 2001 with Subaru and then went to Peugeot with number 1 on it's door. Subaru guys were pissed off on him but that was his choice to sign for a different team.

Today's onboard rally video of the day is from WRC Rally Sweden which was normal snow rally and this is from super special stage which is also very short and for the spectators.

You can see that Richard Burns used only three gears: mostly 2nd and 3rd and occasionally 1st on the hairpins.

So two World Rally Champions from Great Britain from 2000's are dead now, and both died in two years - Burns in 2005 and Colin McRae in 2007.

You just never know what's behind a corner.
