Hi, friends!
Most of you know about Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz who drives for Ferrari F1 team. But how many of you know that there is also his father with the same name bit from world of rallying.
Yeah, Carlos Sainz senior is a double World Rally champion (seasons 1990 and 1992) and his biggest achievemnts were with the team of Toyota, although he drove also for Ford, Subaru and Citroen worls teams in the World Rally Championship.
He recently won Dakar Rally for another time so we can say that he is a very successful rally driver.
Toyota WRC team is in tge series for a long time but with the break from 1999 to 2017. Now they are even more successful then before but they won manufacturer's title at the end of nineties and pulled back from series to join Formula 1 Championship.

Dang I should watch more Rallye, that is some exciting stuff!! I'm mostly into F1 and MotoGP, but they are generally the most accessible. Didn't know Sainz Sr. was such a rally champ, I feel a bit bad for Jr getting the kick from Ferrari but there's no way they could turn down Lewis and Leclerc seems like the better driver at the moment. Hope Jr has a good season though, he deserves a drive in F1 IMO.
Well, the senior was quite a name in sport and still is. Junior has to prove himself worth of top teams in F1.
