Onboard rally video of the day - Francois Duval with Ford Focus WRC at Rally Germany

Francois Duval is one of the greatest rally drivers from Belgium beside Thierry Neuville, of course. He made some bad decisions with the team choices but in the end, his career suffered because of too many shunts. When you are a works driver, it is expected from you to bring as many points as possible from every rally event you are entered for

Yeah his signing for Citroen in 2005 was his worst decision and at that time he was declared as a best young rally driver on the Globe.

He was dumped from the team after only one season despite that win in Australia at tge end of the season. But as I said, too many violent crashes costed him a better chances for the following 2006 season.

In 2006 he drove some selected events with private Škoda outfit but that car was one of the weakest. Later he got a drive with Ford again, but never a full season again, unfortunately for him.

Here we have his drive from Rally Germany 2008 where he was always super quick. Please enjoy and learn from super quick Belgium guy... :)
