Onboard rally video of the day - Gronholm with Peugeot 307 WRC at Rally Sweden

Hi, friends!

Finnish super star and twice World Rally Champion Marcus Gronholm won his crowns in 2000 and 2002 but he is still remembered in the memory of the true rally fans.

He gave the glory back to the lion of Peugeot which is their remarkable sign. They didn't win anything in the World Rally Championship from group B day in eighties.

I remember good when they started with testing of Peugeot 206 WRC at the end of 1998. Delecour even drove Monte Carlo Rallye with Ford Escort WRC just to get a feel of WRC car again because he was their leading driver.

But Marcus Gronholm, was ex-Totoa semi-works driver without a full chance to prove himself at Toyota, and when he got the contract with Peugeot, in his first dull season with them, he won the championship.

Just to remind you that they entered WRC in 1999 with only part time program.

In 2005 they introduced Peugeot 307 WRC, the car with only four gears which was a big problem for them because of the technical glitches.

There was also a power steering problem on some of the rallies and Gronholm as really pissed of with the car.

They pulled out of the WRC at the end of 2005 and it is question when they will come back again.

Watch this piece of history with Marcus and 307 WRC at snow of Sweden.

Enjoy...
