Today we share some time with the four-time World Rally champion Juha Kankkunen, who was like many other Scandinavian drivers a gravel specialist.

But his speed was incredible and his wins on gravel could bring more points on the table that he could lose on the tarmac rallies, although he was good on the hard stuff but just not good as on gravel or snow.

Today we go thirty one years in the past to see how looked like the golden years of rallying at - Network W RAC Rally Great Britain which was always the last event of the season in that time.

Season 1993 was exactly four years before WRC cars were adopted so we are talking about Group A machinery when there was no sequential gearboxes, just H boxes were in use at that time.
