Onboard rally video of the day - Ott Tanak with Hyundai i20 Rally1 at special stage four of Monte Carlo Rallye 2022

It is really annoying watching 2019 World Rally Champion Ott Tanak how he gambles his career with some really stupid decisions during the rallies he enters for the Hyundai World Rally Team.

If I was his team boss, I would give him a reprimand because that was probably third or fourth time he ruined their chances for a better manufacturer's points scoring.

The problem is that he usually punctures tires on the special stages and he always care only one spare tire just to save a weight of the car. Then he usually has two punctures on sthe special stages loop and only one spare tire. FIA say that you must have four free rotating wheels if you want to continue and you can not drive on the liason only on the rim.

That means retirement for the day and Tanak has lots of it to his name. I would say that this is a frivolous from him and that way he only detroys his team's chances for a better result.

This weekend he had even worse team mate in Oliver Solberg because he was suffering from fumes inside a car cabin. I can not understand how Hyundai team mechanics could not find and repair thr problem because they are highly professional and only the best in the world can work for the rally team. Solberg jr retired from the rally on a health reasons. Their too driver Thierry Neuville was really frusttrated because of retiring too easily.

Anyway, Ott Tanak is a super quick driver who sometimes makes a stuoid mistakes but his speed is on a top high.
