Ott Tanak won WRC Rally Chile 2023

Hi, friends!

Yeah, Estonian Ott Tanak finally won again after numerous string of average results and after a nice start of tge season when he won the 2nd round of 2023 World Rally Championship in Sweden.

It is always nice to have a different winners through out the season because there is nothing boring like a domination of some team or a driver. And Toyota won everything apart of two wins of Ott Tanak (Sweden and Chile) and Thierry Neuville who won at Sardinia for Hyundai.

What is even more unbelievable is that M-Sport Ford now has two wins and Hyundai, which has a much better car, now has only one win this season. This just shows how good Ott Tanak is, nothing more to say.

Hyundai had two drivers in the battle for 2nd place this weekend - Teemu Suninen, who destroyed front left suspension on his i20 Rally1 car and Thierry Neuville, who took a chance and finished at the runner-up place.

With Suninen's retirement Toyota drivers took 3rd, 4th and 5th place, just because of a poor tire choice with Elfyn Evans 3rd, Kalle Rovanpera 4th and Takamoto Katsuta in 5th place.

Rest of the top ten was for WRC2 drivers with Oliver Solberg as a winner. Nice rally with lots of spectators and beautiful gravel roads...
