Patterson to co-drive for Gus Greensmith at small practice rally ahead of WRC Croatia Rally 2023

Hi, friends!

Englishman Gus Greensmith was nowhere until very experienced co-driver Chris Patterson didn't sit into his navigator's seat and helped him to build the confidence. It is unbelievable how important co-driver is in this sport. If you have an experienced guy/girl in your right seat, you will just be more sure because it expected that this person knows what he/she is doing. That's it.

It is interesting that Gus Greensmith and Chris Patterson did only one season in the Ford Fiesta WRC but the results started to be better then ever. I see only co-driver's attitude in all this changes. He helped massively and after Gus started to work with Jonas Andersson, it all went downward.

It is stupid to change the winning combination so he would have to do anything he can to bring back Chris Patterson into the car.

Greensmith doesn't drive for M-Sport Ford anymore. From this season he is back in the WRC2 category but he also changed the brand - from Ford to Škoda. He started to drive with the latest Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 from Toksport rally team and that proved good because he won WRC2 at WRC Rally Mexico.

Now he will be reunited at the small tarmac event in Croatia as their preparation for WRC Rally Croatia. It will be interesting to see how the pair function together after more then a season apart.
