Racing fuel is finally here, rally starts in ten days

avatar

Hi, friends!

I had anxious days and weeks because we were waiting for the racing fuel from mid December. Then you can imagine how was it to wait for the 102 octane racing fuel.

Thing is that there is lack of every3in the world with some transport break outs and all this is because of the coronavirus pandemic in the past months and because of the war in Ukraine in last two weeks.

There are some bad things going on in the world so we must be thankful that everything goes by the plan before the start of our national rally championship.

We have tires, rims are finally repaired (I collect them today but we have to paint one of it by the liquid metal before the tire mounting. Yeah, one rim got cracked during the repair so they had to weld it. There is a possibility to crack again if it will be under the big pressure in some of the road cuts. That means a punture and more damage. Don't forget that average price of our Pirelli tires is 270€ per tire. That's a lot if you ask me.

So we now have to mount tires, some small things are nissing around the car but nothing serious and we are ready for the shakedown.

And yeah, we don't have the right to crash the car on the first rally with our Citroen C2 R2 Max.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR US!
