Rovanpera leads Safari Rally Kenya 2022

Hi, friends!

New Finnish rally start Kalle Rovanpera is heading for his first World Rally Championship crown and I just don't see anyone elso who can threat him at the moment.

Two Hyundai top guns - Thierry Neuville and Ott Tanak just don't have the car good enough for fight on every weekend. OK, Tanak won at Sardinia but this weekend all the top podium spots are reserved for Toyota guys because Toyota really has the best car for some time now. Tanak is 4th at the moment and Neuville is 5th, both less then a minute behind a leader.

I already wrote that Toyota guys occupied a podium with Japanese Takamoto Katsuta in 2nd position and Elfyn Evans in 3rd place overall. M-Sport Ford guys had a miserable day with all four crews with some technical problems and with Craig Breen as best placed driver in 9th place.

Don't forget that Safari Rally is probably the toughest rally on Earth so anything is possible until the finish of the rally.
