S. Ogier leads WRC Rally Japan 2022 after super special stage

Hi, friends!

Thursday is the first day of every World Rally Championship event and it is usually a super special stage, something short for the large crowds and fans who want to see the top rally cars from a close distance.

Eight-time WRC champion Seb Ogier is a master of this short opening stages but what I can say is that his mentality is super strong and that's where he wins over his opponents.

Hyundai's Thierry Neuville is also very strong tarmac driver and we could expect some strong performance from this weekend. His team-mate Ott Tanak will leave team of Hyundai after this event and he wants to win on his farewell.

Toyota has string of drivers beside Seb Ogier. There is Kalle Rovanpera as a new World Rally champion and they also have a proven rally winner Elfyn Evans who has a big hunger after non-winning 2022 season.

There will also be a big battle for the WRC2 championship between Emil Lindholm and Kajetan Kajetanowicz. Lindholm has a points lead but the winner takes it all. So it will be a big battle between them.

So, Ogier leads in Japan after super special stage with margin of 0.1s over M-Sport Ford's Craig Breen. Hyundai's Ott Tanak is only 0.2s behind Ogier with Neuville in 4th place and this year's champion Rovanpera in 5th place overall.

Let the best win - as always...
