Six-times WRC champion Ogier to sign new contract with Toyota

Hi, friends!

It seems that Toyota doesn't want to look for a new works driver and Seb Ogier doesn0t want to finish his WRC career on this level, with coronavirus pandemic horror.

He wants another and normal year in the sport and Toyota WRC team boss Tommi Makinen is keen to prolong this contract for another season.

To be more precise, it is Tommi Makinen's wish the have Ogier in the team for more then one season because his other drivers can develop through this time along six times WRC champion.

I would say that both other drivers, Elfyn Evans and Kalle Rovanpera, have the abilities to fight for the title, this season or some future season.

These two guys can watch Ogier and learn from him. That's why it is another plus to have Ogier in the team.

I expect that contract will be signed very soon with both sides very satisfied.
