Solberg jr to replace Loubet at Hyundai WRC team for Safari Rally Kenya 2021

Hi, friends!

French youngster Pierr-Louise Loubet was planned to do WRC Safari Rally Kenya but after poor results in the first part of this season, he will have to sit out this legendary event.

Young Loubet failed to score points this season so it's not anything special to see this decision form Hyundai0s management. The only thing that is weird is the fact that Loubet is a paying driver so maybe his family or his sponsors (I don't think that only sponsors pay for his drive, it must be some private money behind his drive) so maybe he needs a break to collect his confidence for the 2nd part of the 2021 season.

On the other hand young Oliver SOlberg won his first tarmac rally with Hyundai i20 WRC called Rally di Alba which is good for his boost.

Now he got his another WRC outing in the top category, and instead of Frenchman Loubet.

Solberg's father Petter had his WRC debut with Ford at the same Safari Rally Kenya in 1999 and I remember that rally very good.

It will be interesting to see how good will Oliver Solberg perform on the African soil. It is very important to keep the cool head and nerves at really very rough African special stages which will be in the modern edition because it will be closed special stages in comparison with the old editions when drivers had to compete on the open roads with animals, people and traffic around, Every driver had to have a helicopter above it with direct radio connection with the crew to tell them what is in front of them on the road.

I am very curious to see how will this look like and young Oliver Solberg will have a chance of his life time to practice his gravel abilities at legendary Kenyan event.

Let the best win - as always...
