Suarez fastest at qualifying stage of ERC Rally Islas Canarias 2023

Hi, friends!

It wasn't a good start for current European Rally champion Efren Llarena because he went off the road on a left corner and bent a wheel and had to stop there and went on the trailer back to service. That means that he will choose the starting position as a last driver which means to start when the roads are already dirty of a corner cutting.

It was a very short qualifying special stage where all the top drivers finished it in little bit over two minutes. Roads is very technical where you can drive only in first three gears and in places you can shift it to the 4th gear.

I saw some small dirty parts on the qualifying stage but this wasn't dirty at all when you compare it to the Croatia Rally and what we saw there.

Generally the roads at Rally Islas Canarias 2023 are quite great and drivers with the confidence will be at the front, nothing else to add.
