Tanak won small Estonian rally as a test event

Ott Tanak, who wsa also 2019 World Rally Champion, won small Estonian rally called Otepää talveralli 2021.

It is small snowy event with something more then 80km of special stages but what is the most important the surface is the similar as on Arctic Rally Finland, which is next round of WRC.

Well, Toyota tested in Finland but Hyundai went to Estonia to give their top drivers a real test because there is no better testing then competition itself.

So Tanak won the rally and Thierry Neuville finished 2nd overall which was as expected because Neuville's new co-driver Martijn Wydaeghne is still learning his job alongside Neuville.

It is not an easy thing to sit beside the top WRC driver and deliver notes right from the box. Some time is needed for crew to cooperate on the highest level.

Georg Gross finished 3rd overall in the Tanak's rivate Ford Fiesta WRC. And yeah, Tanak has his private rally car rent company called Ott Racing.
