Tour at M-Sport Ford World Rally Team headquarters

Hi, friends!

It is always nice and interesting to see some motorsport facilities and especially for me, as a driver and for the first time owner of the works rally car.

OK, my car is from Citroen Racing and today we are talking about M-Sport Ford but the style of work is always the same when we talk about the works teams - maximum quality in every way.

M-Sport Ford won first round of this year's World Rally Championship at Monte Carlo, but the most important link in this team was the driver Seb Loeb and once again, this proved how much important is the driver in every team and that average guys are just not enough if you want wins in front of you.

M-Sport Ford was always good in the first year of introducing brand new model and category. Later, as they are not fully works team, they don't have money for further development so they start be behind at some point. That is their biggest problem but I guess that the problem is in management of their team because they were selling the works seats to the private drivers for years, even when they were fully works team. That won't work as the time proved by itself.

If you want some results, you must invest some money, no doubt about that. When fighting against the best and the teams with bigger budgets, you can't make results with average drivers and no development process. I guess that they are aware of that now.

I don't know what kind of the future their drivers like Craig Breen, Adrien Fourmaux or Gus Greensmith has, but they three don't have a single win in the World Rally Championship and that say something. These guys still have to prove themselves.

On the other hand , they gave the car to Seb Loeb, 48 year old guy who barely tested the car, and he won the rally without a single change in the set-up. That is the driver to invest to.

Journalist in this video is Howard Davies, ex co-driver of Gwyndaf Evans, Elfyn's father. It is interesting to see the conversation of the rallying insider with M-Sport's owner Malcolm Wilson. I recommend you to watch this video because it is really great.

Please enjoy... :)
