Toyota enters Kalle Rovanpera for WRC Safari Rally Kenya 2024
Hi, friends!
Current World Rally champion Kalle Rovanpera took a partial program for this season with the wish of doing something else for the rest of free time because hr is just a youngster and he drives for the last six or seven years all the time. Well, he didn't have his teenage times so he wants some fun after all.
He missed Monte Carlo Rallye, opening round of this season but he contested Rally Sweden this month and it wasn't going to the plan because he crashed out into the snow bank and had to use Super Rally rule to restart next day with the time penalities.
He eventually finished 39th overall but that was a good training for the rest of the season.
From what I hear, Toyota entered Kalle Rovanpera for Safari Rally Kenya which is the next round of WRC and it will be interesting to see in how shape is his confidence after an off in Sweden.

Yes for sure he is - but in his interviews at the end of the stages, he doesn’t seem to have that “passion” in his voice anymore- he has more of a “ok whatever” attitude….
Kalle is just a youngster...
