We finished the rally but it wasn't easy

Hi, friends!

It seems that people like us because there was so much prople today helping us that I couldn't believe.

I don't know why but this weekend was full of technical problems for my crew. Last night engine mount holder broke up and later the moving of the engine did some damage to the electrical system. It was awful.

This morning I was looking for part all across the town and then driving to the rally place which is close to 100km from my place.

I found the most difficult part on the car scrap yard because this part must be ordered from Germany and we didn't have the time for this.

And when I took all the parts we needed, we went to the service part and then all the fellow competitors and their mechanics started to come together and to work on our car.

We had service of 45 minutes but wee needed three minutes more to finish the job.But the car was badly misfiring so we took it slowly for the first loop of stages.

Later we managed to put the misfire on the lower level and car worked better on the higher revs so we tried harder.

And finally we finished the rally. I don't want to talk about the place we finished but we were not the last.

Now we have to find what's wrong with the electrical system and try to repair it. Thanks for your good wishes.

A finish is so much better than DNF no matter where you place. And not being last is a bonus :) Rallying is about perseverance sometimes just as much as setting a good time, so you win on that front. Great to hear the camaraderie among the teams helping you out, that's so awesome!

Thanks, friend! Adrenaline still pumps me so I couldn't sleep as normally. Hope to see you live on some rally now when your sticker is on my bonnet for two seasons! :D
