Hivechess Tournament S10 Round 2: @sawko strikes again!
Dear chess fans,
the second round of S10 was a 3+1 Superblitz arena, with record-breaking 35 players participating (actually more but some played less than 3 "real" games). Again several were totally new to Hivechess, and for some I don´t have yet a Hive user name (mandeo, fiona777 and Syndmitrij83)! This time even 21 players had a 2000+ rating (19 last time), so with an average rating of 1903 this was overall again a strong field.
@sawko was the winner with 5 points lead. Seems he is this time going for the title again after the break in last season. Runner-up was @tungphong (blackswan21), followed by @eniolw as third. @cocacolaron had an excellent 4th place (you can read his report about the tournament here). Congratulations to All!

After 2 rounds the table consists already of 42 players, more than in the whole season 9. It takes also longer and longer to update it. Well, I guess this the other side of the coin, if our active community gets larger and larger.
No changes in the Top 3, biggest gainer was @rosmarly with her much better result of R2 compared to the first round.

Just like my performance says, I haven't been doing badly. However, I need to play more games and win more. I can't press that beserk button in anything 3mins related.
Its interesting to see how these top guys win games very quickly. I saw @sawko on 12 points while i was at 4 points.

1,5min only is enough for them to destroy most players. I can´t berserk at this time even against a 1800 player, that´s says all :)

To land in the top 10 is nowadays an achievement. One year ago that was much easier 😀!

very cool. I never tried to get ranked, but I know that I am pretty good against total beginners, but seem to lose about anyone who is kinda serious about chess! :P
