Of note, several players had started the season already with 1 or 2 bonus points, dependent if they had played in the last 2 fun tournaments!
Players can switch between the tournament tiers in case their rating changes!

We have our first tournament leaders, @romeo9612, @b0s, @fcastro177 and @tony1294. But of note, if tournament 4 stays so small, it will be merged with tournament 3!

See you all next week - and keep practicing!

Are you following the Candidates Tournament 2024 in Toronto?

2 rounds left and 3 players are tied for first! Each single mistake can now decide who will be the next world champion challenger. The pressure must be immense!

Thanks for streaming. Is there a way to see the streams later, like in Youtube?

(Edited)

I'm working on that, I need 50 subs....I'll try to get that sorted so I can stream on YT (next round) because otherwise everything is lost 🤣 and can't make highlight vids, I think that would be the most fun...like when I start to panic against a 2000 rated player and then draw or win 😛

You need 50 follower on switch and you have just one? That can take a while...😄

Of course it is very satisfying to be able to participate in playing chess. In the area where I live, chess is also available in stalls and I usually see young men who play chess appearing to sit and enjoy coffee.

Sure, but please doublecheck the rules: "In order to be counted, at least 3 games must have been played."
You had played only 2 games.
