Hey there!

This is Nizhny Novgorod, to which I gave 1.5 years of my life. In fact, I took away more than I gave to this city. Such places always give more than you can take. The realization comes only after years, thousands of messages and hundreds of phone calls... But that's what happiness is. To make mistakes, to fall, to lose, and to want to come back. To want, but not to return...

The photo is a May evening in 2021, a week after my birthday. I went there to celebrate my birthday with all my acquaintances, colleagues and friends. It was a week of fire! This photo is part of that fire. The city of sunsets. That's what the whole of Russia calls it. And it is! Sunsets on this land are like nothing I've seen anywhere else... The place where the two rivers Oka and Volga converge is truly a place of power!

Now I'm finishing this post and I'm going out in the freezing cold - 5 degrees to take a walk and meet my friends for a mug of beer. It pleases me no doubt, but I would be transported back to that time in the picture. Where you could jump into the water with shrieks of delight... All I can do now is jump into the ice. 😂 Maybe that's not a bad thing...?

RU: Это Нижний Новгород, которому я отдал 1.5 года своей жизни. На самом деле я забрал больше, чем отдал этому городу. Такие места всегда отдают больше, чем ты можешь взять. Понимание этого приходит только спустя годы, тысячи сообщений и сотни телефонных звонков... Но это и есть счастье. Ошибаться, падать, терять и хотеть вернуться. Хотеть, но не возвращаться...

На фото майский вечер 2021 года, через неделю после моего дня рождения. Я ездил туда, чтобы встретить свой день рождения со всеми своими знакомыми, коллегами и друзьями. Это была огненная неделя! Это фото - часть этого огня. Город закатов. Так его называет вся Россия. И это так! Закаты на этой земле такие, каких я не видел нигде... Место, где стекаются две реки Ока и Волга - действительно место силы!

Сейчас я дописываю этот пост и выйду на мороз - 5 градусов, чтобы прогуляться и встретиться с друзьями за кружкой пива. Меня это радует несомненно, но я бы перенёсся в то время на фото. Где можно было прыгнуть с разбега в воду с криками восторга... Сейчас я могу лишь прыгнуть с разбега в лёд. 😂 Может это и неплохо?...
