Zeal League 1 report card. Week 7 results. (2019/2020)

Hello Ladies and Gents, the French League is back here again. But this time, we do it the "midweek style".

The French League 1 took the ground stage in the midweek and uncommon events took place. The kickoff game was between Dijon and Marsella which was just too tight for any of both teams to walk away from the matchup maximum points. The matchup was at first slow but both teams grew into the game but neither teams were able to find the back of the net.

Monaco got a big win over Niza which was the biggest win in week 7 of the French League. Nantes entertained Rennes in a tight-but-victorious matchup for the home side as the edge passed Rennes in an entertaining 1 goal to nothing game.

Saint-Etienne were unlucky in this matchup as they lost at home to Metz in 1 goal quiet game, Montpellier also had a quiet night with little chances created against Nimes but Montpellier edged passed the visitors in a tight game.

Toulouse hosted Angers who are not looking like a train that will stop anytime soon with a fine form. A rekindled Angers were on top of their game as they claimed all 3 points away from home and conceded nothing to keep a clean sheet in this matchup.
Brest against Lyon was almost my best match for week 7 of the French League as both teams dug it out between themselves in a fine style. Thou, both teams settled for a draw but it was a 4 goals thriller.

Amiens hosted Girondins which they lost to Girondins as they were unable to stand their ground against the visitors as they were easily defeated. Lille entertained Estrasburgo and Lille showed quality by displacing Estrasburgo to claim all 3 points.

Now, to the most exciting game of the day. This is an upset no one saw coming, not even from a thousand miles. PSG were defeated at home by Stade de Reims. Stade de Reims were all over the pitch as they were able to contain PSG and the threats they posed. PSG were outmatched, outclass and defeated.
