News of European football
I am a regular spectator of European club football on television. Last night I have enjoyed three different matches of three different domestic league. These was Man City vs New Castle in EPL, PSG vs Lille in League 1 and Barcelona vs Real Sociedad in Spanish La Liga. Among these game I enjoyed the game from EPL most, then from La Liga and last one from League 1.
I can say only one word about the match between City and Castle, "staggering". WHat a game it was! You can't feel the amazement of the game if you are not a eye witnessed. I am sure taht you can't enjoy such a game at least three time in Bundesliga and League 1 in whole season. And that is why, it is Premier League. Everyone predicted that City will win the match though is was a away game for them. But the present form of the defending champion is very clear. That's why you can't blame if anyone predicted like that. But the game was very tough for City. Castle was very dominating almost first 55 minutes and they lead the match 3-1 in this time. But then two goal from Haland and Bernardo helped City to equalize the scoreline. And the match ended with 3-3 score line.
In La Liga, Barcelona was badly in need to win this game against Sociedad. If they lost or equalised the game, they would fall behind 5-4 points respectively that their rival Real Madrid. Barcelona, however, managed to take a 4-1 win that gave them full three points and a huge confident. Moreover, their new number 9, Lewa has got two goal and one assist in this match. As there was no Busquets, Jong was in defensive role. Where he played very well though unluckily conceded the only goal for his possession lost.
It was forgone conclusion that PSG will win the match. And it was right. They have destroyed Lille by seven goals. I don't like League 1 and Bundesliga because of the single club dominance years after years.
