Two Museums in Ploiesti (My Actifit Report Card: July 23)

Yesterday I set a new goal for myself, to not miss any week without a bit of art in my life.
There is this city that I often cross on my way to the mountain side, but till now I have never visited anything in this place. But yesterday I took my revenge, visiting the local art museum, and a very old house, former residence of typical trader from XVIII-th century, now restored and a great reminder of a the old times.
The building of the art museum is a beautiful villa from the XIX-th century, with luxurious interiours:
The art collection was not that rich, and had a small collection of paintings from Romanian artists, but some pieces were actually really nice:
Making pictures in the second museum was not allowed, as a preventive measure to not expose the sensitive textiles to too much light. But this is how the old house was looking from outside:
