Russian Bath (My Actifit Report Card: June 2)
Greetings, everyone!
Yesterday we continued to explore the Moldavian Republic, first with a tour of Micleştii Mici Winery – similar to Cricova Winery, 100 km of galleries of a former limestone mine, creates the optimal environment for wine storage, but specialized in wine, and not sparkling wine.
Miclestii Mici is in the Guinness Book of Records, holding the title for the largest wine cellar by number of bottles. And to no surprise, they even don't know exactly how many bottles they have, but certainly over 1.5 million bottle of wine.
We finished the visit, had a copious lunch, and spent the afternoon in a amazing spa, where for the first time I tried the Russian Bath – sauna at 90°C with 35% humidity, "threating" your body with bath brooms made of oak branches, and at the end, a jump into a pool with freezing water, at 7°C.
