steevc just finished a 7.09km run, that lasted for 44 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 510.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
I mentioned on my Sunday run that my back was playing up a bit. It was not painful as such, but it was uncomfortable. It seemed better by yesterday. I was at the White Horse last night playing some tunes with my music buddies. That is always fun, but I may have to give up the beer as it is not conducive to a good sleep.

Despite my unsettled night I was up this morning, eventually, to run. It took me a while to get out there and it was raining a little when I did. That was not enough to deter me. It was not so light when I started, but I had a bright shirt on. I saw our local race walker out and she had a head torch. My visibility issues are more to do with rain on my glasses.

I did the usual loop although with it being half term there would be less kids around on other routes. It was a steady plod today where I just tried to keep going.

There were not too many people out there in the rain. I was pretty damp by the time I got back, but soon warmed up. The shower is very welcome after a run, but I need a while to stop sweating.

I plan to run at parkrun on Saturday and hope to do better than my last outing. The course will be a little slippery now. I have entered the Letchworth 5k that goes around the town centre. That is followed by a separate 1 mile race that I will also do. Not that I expect to break any records. That is just over a week away.

Run free and have fun. If anyone on Strava wants to earn from their activities on Hive then let me know.

Sorry to hear about your back. Mines been a bit dodgy too lately. I think it has to do with the hotel beds... I'm kind of looking forward to getting back home for good so I can settle back into my exercise routine. I've been a bit all over the place lately!

I may have over-done something such as gardening. I'd hate to have to stop running. Just have to know when to take it easy.

Yeah, I understand that. I had to mow the lawn quick the other day when we got home from our trip and before I left on my next one. It took a lot out of me.

I think you should not run for some days because of your back so that it will be fine or what do you think?

Back trouble comes in many forms. If it's not hurting me then I assume it's not too bad. I hope your sister improves.
