Morning Run: Autumn leaves

steevc just finished a 5.48km run, that lasted for 35 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 432.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It was only about 12 hours since my last run, but off I go again. I heard the rain lashing down last night as Storm Ciarán passed over. I did not see any real damage this morning. Even the local Halloween decorations seemed to be intact.

I was wanting to do an intervals session and headed for the local hill where I usually do those. There were lots of leaves around, so I was wary of it being slippery, but it was not too bad. I did my five runs up the hill that were not my quickest, but I was not feeling too bad really. I saw at least one other runner out there, but it was fairly quiet. I may have been out before most of the kids heading to school.

It looks like some of my colleagues have been out to log some activities for our charity effort this month. It may get competitive. I could log my walking to work, but I may just do any running and cycling. I have already made a donation. The company has promised to match what we raise.

Run free and do good.

I was going to say, running again right after running last night? That's pretty hard core! We took a break this morning and just slept in. Our dog has been sick so I have had to do some extra caring for her.

I will look at running daily, but take it easy on some days to recover. Hope the dog is better soon.

Thanks, she is on her second full day of antibiotics so hopefully she is turning the corner.

I was even thinking that you run just once a day
I never knew that you run twice or more
That's nice

No, less than once a day usually.

Lots of people walk that way with their dogs. I like to get away from the roads.

Good luck with the charity thing... I guess its one way to motivate you exercise a little frequently. I suppose if you are serious about trying to 'win' it, then you'll want to log some of your walks too

I'm not going to obsess about it too much, but I do want to try daily runs for a while.

Winter is the season and the leaves start falling from the trees and their colors change but they still look very beautiful.
