steevc just finished a 7.04km run, that lasted for 45 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 543.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
I do not usually run on a Wednesday, but I am trying to fit in more runs around work to get my distance up. We have had a series of storms across the UK, but at least it is warmer now. The thermostat showed 10C outside today.

I did the usual loop, but it felt like hard work this time. I have not been sleeping that well and it may be affecting my fitness. I do not feel that bad though. Going up West Drive there were a few fallen branches and I expect someone had to clear them so cars could get up there. I had no issues getting through.

There were not so many people out there this time, but it was actually a fairly nice morning. It was still a bit windy at the top of the hill where you can see for miles.

The road out of Fairfield was busy as people go to work, but I am happy enough to work from home today. I drive a lot less than I used to when working in London. I still go to the office each week, but I can take a short train journey to get there.

I listened to a Guardian podcast on the future of flying using low carbon fuels. I think we need to fly less. I have already done more than my fair share of that. I fed the chickens when I got back. No eggs again.

Have a great day whatever you are doing.

Run free.

Nice job on your run. My wife and I skipped our workout yesterday morning, but then school was closed, so I decided to work from home. I ended up getting 10,000 steps in just clearing the driveway! I think our treadmill is getting delivered tomorrow, so we will see how that goes.

Clearing snow must be a good workout. Have fun with the treadmill.

I'm usually soaked in sweat when I come in from doing it. I will often just wear a t-shirt under my coat even if it is below zero outside because I get so hot. Especially we the snow is heavy. There have been several people who have died from shoveling.

You had a good run so does this mean that you’d be running every since you want to fit in more runs or how will you make the schedule

Is that second graph actual elevation of your route?

I agree with your comment below on the first step being the one out of the door. I tend to find 10 things to do the min I wake up and then get stuck :( Need to change that.

Yes it's elevation. There's a bit of a hill to climb. All good workout.

I have to just get out there, but it's a habit now

7 km son aceptables, eso es más o menos lo que yo camino al día en mi trabajo..

My job is mostly sitting down, so I have to run for exercise. Have fun with your work.

Good on you for your runs, I'm a walker really more of a rambler, but with the rain we've had the last 3 days, I've only been able to sneak out for a quick walk round the garden. I'm hoping for a dry sunny weekend.

I enjoy walking too, but I feel I need the extra workout and I want to improve my parkrun performance. I hope the weather improves for you.
