Description from Strava:
The weather has turned milder now and there are signs of springs such as the daffodils being out. I jogged along to my local parkrun as usual. The course is still a little muddy, but not too slippery. I met up with some friends at the start. We had some visitors from Australia this week.

I have been trying to pace myself, so did not go off too quickly. It did feel like hard work though. After a lap or so I was just following an older guy (possibly a similar age to me) and trying to not let him get away from me. He did pull ahead on the last half lap and a couple of others came past, but I gave it what I could with a little sprint at the end. My time was similar to last week.

Later this morning I walked to the shops and had clocked up 15k steps by lunch time. My other half has gone to see a work friend play rugby so I do not have a car.

I ought to do some chores, but may fit in some drumming. I can make more noise when she is out.

Enjoy your weekend and run free.

Why do you want to drum when your other half is out?
She does not like noise at all?

Do you know how loud drums are? She wants to watch TV.

That's great time for 5K! That 10K coming up should be a walk in the park for you! Is strava easy to use?

I used to be quicker and I hope to improve. It's definitely hard work for me.

I just log my run on my Garmin watch and it appears on Strava. I just have to add some commentary there for @strava2hive to pick it up and make a post. Pretty simple really.
