steevc just finished a 12.02km run, that lasted for 74 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 911.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
The local parkrun was cancelled yesterday and the course was badly flooded. There has been a lot of rain this week, but Saturday morning was actually quite nice. More rain came in the afternoon. This morning it was nice and sunny again.

The paths were still wet as I set off and I saw so many earthworms out on the tarmac. They are likely to get stranded when things dry out.

I did the usual long loop around the villages. It was hard work, but I kept going. I saw a few other runners out there. There were a couple of ladies running with their dogs who I saw twice as we went different ways around Stotfold.

There are some long straights on this route, but I try not to look too far ahead as it can feel like you are not making progress. There was something going on at the football club and after I passed it someone stopped their car to ask if they were going the right way for it.

When I got back to Arlesey I could take the direct route home as I had already done enough distance. I had breakfast and a shower, then did a few strength exercises. I have a band rehearsal this afternoon, so need to prepare for that. It is a while since we played together.

Run free.

Here in our city it has rained like this. Two days ago, everything is still the same. The roads are standing water.

Glad you got a sunny gap to squeeze in that run. The rain makes it hard to be consistent, but you are putting in the work! Well done!
