steevc just finished a 7.28km run, that lasted for 43 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 509.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
Last night I was at The White Horse for our fortnightly jam session. A few of the regulars were missing, but we still had a full house. There was a car crash just up the road, but with the new road people could divert around it. We had one new guy who has played at the local open mic plus the return of @steve.and.anke. Anke brought along her new keyboard that sounded great.

Anke and Richard

That is my guitar in the foreground. Richard lives just next door to the pub and he does some great songs, including a bit of Chas and Dave. I tried some different songs, but they need a bit more practice. One I wrote is still evolving. Anke joined in when I did a Nena song in German.

This morning was nice and sunny, but a little chilly. Strava reckon it was 4C, feeling like -1C. I did my usual loop, but tried to push the pace a bit. I achieved my best time in a while, so I feel like I am improving at the moment. It was nice out there and I soon warmed up. I had a good sweat on by the time I got back for breakfast. As usual it took me a little while to get going and I have to climb the hill to Fairfield, so it was no surprise that the second half was quicker.

I was listening to the Somewhere On Earth Podcast that was talking about issues with undersea internet cables. These provide vital communications and you can see them mapped here. This podcast grew out of the BBC Digital Planet show that ended a year ago. I am going to a reunion of presenters and listeners tonight in London.

With the current weather my solar panels are being really productive. Once I have data from a few months I will try to generate some statistics on how they are performing.

Run free!

I did a bit of a lighter work out today because I plan on hitting the treadmill tomorrow. My wife has been monopolizing it most mornings this week! Maybe I should have bought two! Nice job on your run!

You need His & Hers treadmills! I do feel I am running a bit better lately and the weather helps. I still have a niggle with my hip tendon, but it won't stop me.

My back has been really stiff most mornings for the past couple of weeks. I'm hoping I can work it out with some light stretching and physical activity, but it hasn't happened yet. His and Hers Treadmills would be great!

Well it's the best in a while. I think I got complacent for a while. It's rained since then, but sun is out again now. That's good as I'm heading to London soon.

No running today but I have done enough work to burn calories.

Do you people get played when you all play or you just do it because you’ve got passion for it?

This is just for the fun of it, but some of us have paid gigs.
I assume that is what you meant? 😊
@steve.and.anke do.
