@steevc just finished a 7.66km run, that lasted for 45 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 554.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It has been a bit dull lately and really feels like autumn (aka fall) as the leaves change colour and drop. Today I decided to do the village loop. It is actually a similar distance to the Fairfield one, but it makes a change. The only real issue is running into all the kids heading to school as they clog up the footpaths.

It always takes me a while to get moving so the first couple of kilometres were a little slow, but it improved as I went on. I just the short version of the loop. On the road to Stotfold all the hedges on one side have been cut down. I have heard that this is to create a cycle path. A lot of kids go that way to school, so it makes sense as it is a busy road and they currently clash with pedestrians. I would hope that a new hedge could be planted as it is a vital space for wildlife.

As expected there were a lot of kids around Stotfold heading to Etonbury, but it was not too bad really. They mostly ignored me. I sometimes get things shouted at me, but it may seem funny to see an old man out running. I will not be the only one.

There are still some roadworks going on with the new houses being built on the way into Arlesey. At least people now have another route to avoid that.

We have a pub jam session tonight, so I will be there with my guitar. I may take along a new instrument I made with my 3D printer, but I cannot play it properly yet.

Run free and have fun.

I'm still working on getting back at it. My walking is getting better, but my foot flares up with pain every now and then.

Having been through some injuries I can empathise. I was keen to get back out there and it's going well for now.

Yeah, I am itching to get out and about. I was able to mow the lawn this past weekend, but it took a lot out of me.

There's more traffic these days, but we need cycling to be encouraged. It gets crazy around the school with cars then the kids leave and arrive. My kids mostly walked or cycled to that school. It's only about 2km away.

I agree about the crazyness around school, parents are mad nowadays, go fast like mad, park litterally in front of the gate not to dare do a few steps

The sound of leaves crunching adds a whole new layer to the experience. No falling of leaves here yet.
