My morning run

avatar

This would usually be posted via @exhaust, but it is not working today and the developer is deciding whether it can continue as it is. Meanwhile I will post my runs manually.

I just finished a 7.388km running that lasted about 0hh:41mm:53ss !

Sometimes I really have to bully myself into getting up and running. It is too tempting to stay in bed, but then I know that if I do not run then I do not improve and may go backwards fitness-wise. Today started cool, but dry. It rained a fair bit yesterday, so there are a few puddles.

I just did the loop around Fairfield again. Climbing the hill is enough of a workout some days. It did take a while for my legs to get working properly. It was fairly quiet out apart from people taking their little kids to school. Not sure if I saw anyone else running. I did see a black squirrel fairly close up.

Coming back down the hill I was warmed up and so could put on some speed. If only all running could be downhill.

I was dodging pedestrians on the way home and took a diversion around the back of my block. I could run later, but I like to get it over and done with before breakfast.

I will see how I feel for weekend runs. I have a gig with @swing47 on Saturday, so need to practice for that.

Run free and stay well.

Good effort, sometimes you just have to get out!

It's tough when the weather is against you!

Have a !BEER

Hopefully it'll work!

I think !BEER is working. Weather today was okay, but it rained later. I don't mind the cold too much, but not keen on rain.

(Edited)

This was in Berlin doing parkrun last year. We don't get much snow were we live, but it gets below freezing. I can wear layers and gloves to keep warm enough.

It's all about people. You have to connect with people who share your interests and give them something they value. I see you are into crypto and you have to compete with others who post about that. Keep commenting and engaging with people. It took me a long time before I made anything, but I commented a lot.

I hope it works out for them and they can get it back working. I know how much you enjoy using the app. I did a bit of a lighter workout today. It actually felt a bit more intense because it didn't have HIIT segments so it was just non-stop activity.
