Pre-lunch run - Round and round
I am back to intervals today. I had things to do first thing, so ran a bit later. It can be quieter out then anyway. The weather is not too bad. Overcast with the odd few drops of rain and warmer than it has been. I went to my regular circuit around the fields to do 800m intervals.
I was running anti-clockwise. It is fairly flat with a slight rise along that top side and there was a headwind down the back straight.
The pace was not too bad. I aim to be under 5min/km on on the fast sections, but went a little over on some. I was heading home on the last one and not really pushing, but I needed to be back for a delivery.
According to Strava I am 6th quickest for a full lap, but then I am not pushing all the way on this workout. I ought to go and try for a quick one. The top guy was doing 4:13 pace, so I will not beat that, but I may get ahead of a friend who also goes there. He was the one who got me onto this workout.
I am posting this in the Running Community. I did my last run with @Actifit, but that seems to post to its own community, as does @exhaust, which may not be working right now. There are lots of runners on Hive and it would be great to bring them all together for inspiration and maybe some challenges.
Run free and stay well.
Hmm I fancy some intervals - it's chucking it down here for 24 hours now, so I might wait until tomorrow.
That's a very rectangular rectangle you managed to run there!
I just follow the tractor tracks around the fields where I have to dodge some puddles. They are pretty straight. It's good that they have kept some woodland and the lakes in there, but it's otherwise very open and so can get windy.

Do not miss the last post from @hivebuzz:
You should still use the actifit tag even if it isn't your first one. You can get a handful of tokens for your activity. You are pretty consistent with your exercise so you could probably become a whale pretty quickly (not that you care about that sort of thing).
I'll fish for a few tokens, but they are not really a priority. Does the actifit tag work if you don't use the app?
I guess I am not sure. I only ever use the app for my actifit stuff because I have it pull the activity from my fitbit.
Is this a new community? May be i should post my running activities here while @exhaust is not working.
It was created a while ago, but has not been used much, possibly due to dapps having their own.
Every day is a good day when you run.
