How can it be June already? At least it is starting to feel like summer. It was relatively warm for my outing today. I opted for running to Stotfold as the kids are off school this week and would not be crowding the paths. I have not done that run in a while. My legs were feeling a bit tired, but I managed a pretty good pace. I was actually amazingly consistent over much of the run and quickest at the end.

It was fairly quiet out there apart from when I needed to cross the road. There were a few runners out though.

I took the long way back to stretch it out a bit, but on a working day I find about 40 mins to be enough.

We have put up our pool and it has been filling since yesterday. It should be ready for a dip this evening. I expect it will be a bit of a shock to the system when I get in as it always is.

Run free and stay well.

Nice job on your run. My wife and I were still pretty wiped out from our camping trip this past weekend so we skipped our morning workout. We plan on taking the dog for a walk when we get home. That will be the majority of our exercise for the day.

Nice that you could get away. Our son has gone off travelling around the UK with a friend. They will be camping for some of it, but the weather is great right now. Having a dog means you need to get out every day regardless. I see so many dog walkers on my runs. Cats are less work.
