I just finished a 8.832km running that lasted about 0hh:51mm:8ss !

When I woke up this morning I could hear rain lashing down and so I was not tempted to run. It has been windy all day too. I thought I would see if it was better later on. I spent a fair bit of the morning on housework, including giving my study a good clean as it gets very dusty. I also cleaned out the chickens.

I eventually got out for a run in the late afternoon. I did not want to be out in the dark. Just as I was getting ready it rained again, but not for long.

My legs were feeling tired. I think parkrun yesterday took a lot out of me and so the run mostly felt like hard work. I did my usual loop by heading up the hill to Fairfield. There were a few people out with their dogs or just for a walk. The wind was against me a lot of the time.

Heading across to Stotfold the wind was more behind me so that was a little easier and my legs were starting to work better. They do take a while to warm up. By the time I was heading back to Arlesey I was feeling tired, but was determined to do a decent distance and so took some back streets.

The pace was not too bad really considering how I was feeling. I seem to be able to keep going. I was listening to a nice guitar podcast that passed the time. After a nice shower I am having a coffee to warm up. It was not terribly cold out there, but it felt a bit chilly. I still got a good sweat on.

Run free and stay well.

Kudos for your consistency. I have not been able to run outside due to the weather and the house chores. Hope the snow on walkways will go away in a few weeks and I will be able to run.

I think we had a tiny bit of snow the other day, but it didn't settle. Hope you can run soon. Our winter has been quite mild really, so I have been able to keep it up.

I am limited to strength exercise at home. I am missing outdoor runs. Keep up the good work and keep running.
