What is going on at Barcelona?

Hello Hivers, I am back again, and I want to discuss with you, both the good and bad, going on at my football club, FC Barcelona.

Over the past 4 to 5 years, Barcelona have not been at their best due to lots of mismanagement especially in the financial aspect, but with the appointment of a new president Joan Laporta, all Barca fans including myself, are beginning to have a little hope about the future.

We have a project called Espai Barca which is to renovate our current stadium (camp nou) and make it more modern, like stadiums nowadays, such as: Wanda Metropolitano, etihad, etc. This will be completed between 3 to 5 years and we all certainly can’t wait.

They have been signs of action and improvement lately, with the appointment of club legend Xavi, as manager, and several purchases of players, such as: Adama Traore, which is the most recent. He’s known for his pace and dribbling skills. The timing of his purchases is also very good due to the uncertainty around Dembeles camp, giving two players are very similar.

Feranmi Torres is another player who has come through the door, and his main target is to score goals. He’s a very good finisher, and we believe he would find it easy to adapt, giving he is a starter in the Spanish national team and he has also played under Pep Guardiola.

Dani Alves is also a player who came through this window, due to his talent, experience and leadership. He could be very vital in the hopes of finishing in the top four.

Lastly, we have Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, whose final years at weren’t too great, especially his relationship with the manager, due to disciplinary issues. He signed for us as a free agent, and hopefully he can live up to his words, were he said he can ’be a killer in front of goal’

Still have huge financial implications having sold a major share of their tv rights for the next 20 years. Players still have to be sold as they are still in league infringement of their current salary cap. As a club I think they are done for the next 5 years as they have to rebuild and that is being kind. The fear factor is now gone and clubs will be challenging them in every match.

I think any fan would say that but just have to be realistic. The Club has changed and those changes will impact the club. Look at Man Utd they have done nothing for 10 years and nothing is guaranteed.

You have to be more active within the community to obtain extra curation along with a lengthier post. Rewards have to justify effort and this is just way too short plus the obvious lack of engagement.
