Hey everyone, as you probably already know by now, the WOO staff is at Wrestlecon. As I got to know these awesome guys and gals for a couple of years by now, I am quite certain they are sleeping and sobering up to get ready for another day at Wrestlecon. So far we didn't get any pictures yet. So I decided to write today a shout out to one of WOO's partners: @mikeywhipwreck.

As you can see on above picture, he's trying to promote WOO and Hive through his own channels and giving us a shout out. By writing this post, I wanted to give back the favor. Mikey is one of WOO's partners who is writing articles on Hive. In my opinion his blogposts are really great as they give us a sight behind the scenes of his (early) wrestling matches. I am especially astonished that he even has pictures of his early games.

Besides promoting Hive through socials and interviews, he'll be promoting our favorite blockchain on Wrestlecon in person as well. I am really curious how many new people we'll be able to attract at this major wrestling event!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The public beta of the game launched on December the 13th. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. In the near future you'll be able to earn $WOO, just by playing the game, a real #play2earn game!
