Erik Ten Hag - New Man Utd Boss - Biggest turnaround job ever?

avatar

Erik ten Hag must be thrilled to be appointed as the new manager of (arguably) the world's biggest club, Manchester United.

On the other hand, he must be seriously concerned at the loss of identity, team-spirit and general lack of direction shown by the current team of players.

This is one heck of a turnaround job...!

Time is probably the biggest asset that he will need to make the changes that he so clearly needs to make.

But in today's 100mph results-driven world, will he get the patience that he needs from the fans and the Board to make the changes?

This will be an interesting leadership experiment to observe and learn from (or not...).

What do you think are the key leadership and/or cultural changes that should be made for a team that is currently 'lost in the wilderness'?

Mr. Ten Hag must change a lot at Man Utd, but the most important thing is to first see how he recovers the locker room, which at first glance seems broken. Then make the necessary changes of players, there must be many exits and of course some additions. In addition, start working thinking that the safest thing is that they will not have international competition. You practically have to start from scratch but it is a very ambitious project.
