CONVINCING BLUES – A Good Champions league night

After a rocky start to the season for the boys in blue, a convincing win was needed in tonight’s game in Head Coach Graham Potters' first game in charge. The blues have had a dreadful start to the Champions League this season with just one point from two games. A strong response was needed.

At the start of the game, it felt like Milan would be bossing the game but that changed quickly with Chelseas getting a foothold in the game, mid-way through the first half, till the end of the game. A dominant display that saw Milan only get one shot on target. A tame straightforward shot that Kepa beat away. Goals from Wesley Fofana, who got his first goal for the club but was subbed off due to an injury halfway through the first half. Aubameyang who seems to have found his scoring boots netted his second for the club from a sumptuous Reece James cross. Reece got the last go after a layoff from Raheem Sterling. A fine finish from the young Englishman, as he blasted the ball into the roof of the net.

The boys had a very good game, particularly Reece James who picked up the man of the match with a goal and an assist. One can’t fail to mention how much of a player Thiago Silva is. He ages like fine wine. Elsewhere, with some surprising result yesterday night, tonight's games were filled with goals. PSG was held to a one-one draw, while Manchester City yet again destroyed their opponent in a five-goal thrashing. Erling Haaland can’t stop scoring at the moment.

A beautiful day to be a football fan, and a beautiful day to be a Chelsea fan. Lets march on blues

I liked the way Milan started the game but as soon as went forward it looked like they couldn’t find that perfect pass or cross in to the box to score a goal. Chelsea on the other hand looked like scoring each time they went forward with the ball.

Chelsea made it look easy. All night they were comfortable. The only scare was when Leao dribbled into the box. Even at that nothing still happened for them.

Chelsea looked like a team without fear and I wish to see how their next match will be played.

Spot on.

It was a good night. Tomorrow we go again 😁

At this point, Reece James is the best Right Back in the EPL that guy just toyed with AC Milan's defense, a good one for the Blues this will boost back their confidence and return them to winning their matches.
