Badly hampered at the start, and dumped at the rear of the field as a result, took some time to get into his stride. Lived up to his name on the run in from 2f out, finding a good gap between horses and motoring up to 6th place. Ran on well in the final furlong, but never really recovered sufficiently from the start to mount a significant challenge.
