Jumped off fairly slowly from the start, and raced at the rear of the field, which initially split into two groups and a lone runner on the nearside. The central group then drifted right to join the farside group with our pick still towards the rear. Started moving forward from 3 furlongs out, but needed to switch left to get a clear run to the line, by which time the winner had slipped away. Moved up to 3rd approaching the line and held on to that position.
