Hello to all the members of this community! Today I had agreed to visit a friend to spend some time chatting and learning a little about sewing, but unexpectedly a "mission" arose for me: to go in search of a little kitten that my friend was going to give up for adoption the next day. I couldn't refuse, since it's difficult for stray cats to find homes, so knowing that this little kitty was still being waited for, I told my friend she could count on me.

I confess, I was a little nervous haha, and I know that cats get stressed and scared when they're suddenly transported in a box, especially if they're so small. So, as soon as they handed me the box with the cat inside (it had several holes on the sides), I did my best to hurry to my friend's house, walking while avoiding any sudden movements so as not to scare the kitten further. I also sang to him a little, talked to him, and occasionally put my fingers in the box to pet him (he stuck a little paw in me 😆), and I even bought some kibble on the way to give him. Luckily, he was able to calm down when he realized I wouldn't let him out of the box, and in no time, we were at my friend's house.

Little "Mandarino" was welcomed by my friend's son, and not only did he play with him, but he also climbed into her bed to sleep for a while. That relieved me, because I was really worried that the journey would leave the poor baby with some serious after-effects. But that only stayed in my head. Tomorrow, the girl who's going to take the kitten will arrive, and according to my friend, they're good people who know how to take care of cats. It was a great "home delivery," I even felt like Kiki from the movie "Kiki's Delivery Service." It was something I never imagined I'd do today, but I'm glad it turned out well. I hope the little kitten is very happy and loved in his new home; I truly wish it with all my heart 💝✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! El día de hoy había quedado en visitar a una amiga para pasar el rato charlando y aprendiendo un poco sobre costura, pero inesperadamente surgió una "misión" para mí: Ir en la búsqueda de un pequeño gatito que mi amiga iba a entregar al día siguiente en adopción. No pude negarme, ya que es difícil que los gatos callejeros consigan un hogar, así que sabiendo que éste pequeño minino estaba siendo esperado, le dije a mi amiga que podía contar conmigo.

Lo confieso, estaba algo nerviosa jaja y es que sé, que a los gatos les estresa y los asusta ir transportados de pronto en una caja, más sin son tan pequeños. Así que, en cuanto me entregaron la caja con el gato en su interior (tenía varios agujeros a los costados), hice lo posible por apresurarme a llegar a casa de mi amiga, caminando evitando en todo momento hacer movimientos bruscos, para no asustar más al gatito. También, le canté un poco, le hablé y de vez en cuando, metía mis dedos en la caja para acariciarlo (me clavó una garrita 😆) y hasta compré algo de croquetas en el camino para darle. Por suerte, pudo quedarse tranquilo al darse cuenta de que no lo dejaría salir de la caja y en poco tiempo, estuvimos en casa de mi amiga.

El pequeño "Mandarino" fue bien recibido por el hijo de mi amiga y no sólo jugó con él, sino que se subió a su cama a dormir un rato. Eso me alivió, porque realmente estaba preocupada de que el trayecto, le dejara secuelas al pobre bebé. Pero eso sólo quedó en mi cabeza. Mañana vendrá la chica que va a quedarse con el gatito y según mi amiga, son buenas personas que saben cuidar gatos. Fue una buena "entrega a domicilio", hasta me sentí como el personaje de Kiki de la película "Kiki: Entregas a Domicilio". Fue algo que no imaginé que haría el día de hoy, pero que me alegro que haya tenido un buen desenlace. Espero que el pequeño gatito sea muy feliz y querido en su nuevo hogar, en verdad, lo deseo de todo corazón 💝✨
