My Actifit Report Card: August 23 2025 - Leaving home to combat discouragement ✨

ENGLISH CONTENT

Hello to all the members of this community! Even though I had planned to go out to the city center twice a week to break up my sedentary lifestyle, my mood wasn't helping me get going. In fact, I was very close to staying home despite having interesting plans, but I remembered that one of the things they always mention in the videos I'm watching is that you shouldn't wait for motivation to come to you to do things. You have to do things, and the motivation will come in the process. I can assure you that's absolutely right, because I've confirmed it so many times... Even so, those desires to stay home doing the same old thing persist.

✨Photo on the subway: Good job leaving today ✨

After putting on some music, I started making breakfast and lunch to take with me. I did all my things calmly, and once I was ready, I went out, although I confess I put it off as long as I could. I had thought about taking a taxi to the subway station, but I decided not to and, as usual, I walked there. It's about a 15-minute walk, which is necessary, as I see it as part of my weekly exercise. Once I got to the subway, I felt more energetic and took advantage of the opportunity to pick up the book I've been reading for a while during those trips. I can proudly say I finished it, and it was great. It was a western story that I didn't think I'd end up liking so much. I'm eager to select my next book because I have several that I bought and haven't read yet.

📚 Another book finished, no matter the time 📚

Today I went to the National Art Gallery, where there was an event, and after being there for a while, I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art, which is right next door. I felt like I needed a break from being surrounded by so many people. The museum was practically empty, and I felt really good there, haha. Even though I love attending events, bazaars, and crowded places, at the same time, those places end up overwhelming me. Does that happen to you? I can only stay for a certain amount of time, and then I have to leave. Anyway... I feel fulfilled for having gone out even though I didn't want to, since these small steps are helping me get used to leaving my confinement.

It was a real challenge convincing myself to go out! But you're right, once I was out and about, I gradually became happy to do it. This happens so often that I know I just have to get out and then everything will be okay. 😌 Thank you so much for visiting my post and for your kind words ✨💚

It was so hot today here, and we have forest fire smoke coming down from Canada…
It was a push to go out and hike in the heat and smoke, but like you said once we were out, it was nice!😇

Oh, too bad about the fires 😞 Try to stay hydrated and cool during heat waves 🙏

The only event I could tolerate is an anime-related one... although I haven't been attending the past several years. Crowded places are scaryyyyy~ Glad you're able to go out and enjoy somehow... Take careeeeee!

Hahahaha We're similar in that regard! Although at anime events, I also end up needing a break pretty quickly 😆 What I like about these events is that you see pretty things and you can exchange words with nice people with your same interests 😌 Although, I prefer quieter places, like museums... that's why I escaped after a while to the museum next door hehe Thanks so much for visiting my post, friend. It's always nice to read you 😊 I hope you also take care of yourself and have a nice start to the week 🤗💚

If I go there as myself, I'd have to stay away from the crowd from time to time... but when I cosplay, my mind and personality also transform... but then again, I'd have to lock myself up at home for a long time before going out again. hahhaha

Would love to go to museums too... I've been to most of them (at least the ones in the area), and unfortunately, there aren't that many. XD

Always a pleasure... Take care, and have a good one, too! ^^
