My Actifit Report Card: September 28 2025 - A day unexpectedly on the move ✨

Hello to everyone in this community! As part of my routine, I was supposed to go out somewhere this weekend, both to clear my head and stretch my legs, something necessary given my sedentary lifestyle. However, I couldn't go out into the city center due to various factors, including my mood. It's crucial to feel good, as it's a bit of a long commute to wherever I'm going, so feeling down, I thought it best to stay home.
But that doesn't mean I'm not going anywhere. I had the idea of having a "dance session" in my room, so after breakfast and buying some things at the market, I started dancing to my favorite songs. It was a lot of fun because I love doing it and I've been wanting to take some time for it for a long time. I'm not the best dancer, but that doesn't matter; music nourishes my soul, and there are songs that make me want to dance with improvised steps.

For lunch, I had a craving: fried cabbage with sardines. It was a recipe I tried many years ago on the spur of the moment, and I loved it. My mom gave me a huge piece of cabbage, so at the market, I got a can of tuna in tomato sauce, added onion, scallions, and some seasonings. It was truly delicious!

However, things didn't end there. Once I'd danced until I was exhausted, my sister texted me and asked me to help her wash her clothes, since she had the flu. After showering and eating lunch, I did her the favor... but I didn't have much energy left, because dancing consumed most of it. Still, I don't regret dancing! By the time my sister returned from work, all her clothes were done, so she could rest peacefully and recover from her illness.
Even though I couldn't go out downtown, as I had planned, I consider it a pretty productive day in terms of my mobility. It's true, I feel tired, but very revitalized in spirit. I'll continue dancing once or twice a week, and I might even finally get around to learning the choreographies I like 💞

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Como parte de mi rutina, se suponía que tenía que salir éste fin de semana a algún lugar, tanto para despejarme como para estirar las piernas, algo necesario ante mi vida sedentaria. Sin embargo, no pude salir al centro de la ciudad debido a distintos factores y entre ellos estaban mis ánimos. Es crucial sentirme bien, ya que es un trayecto algo pesado a dónde quiera ir, así que sintiéndome con un bajón emocional, pensé que lo mejor era permanecer en casa.
Pero, eso no significa que me quedase sin moverme. Tuve la idea de hacer una "sesión de baile" en mi habitación, así que luego de desayunar y comprar algunas cosas en el mercado, me puse a bailar mis canciones favoritas. Fue algo muy divertido, porque me encanta hacerlo y tenía muchísimo tiempo queriendo tomarme un tiempo para ello. No soy la mejor bailarina, pero eso no importa, la música me nutre el alma y hay canciones que me hacen querer bailar con pasos improvisados.

Para almorzar, tenía un antojo: Repollo frito con sardinas. Fue una receta que probé hace muchos años por improvisación y me encantó. Mi madre me regaló un trozo enorme de repollo, así que en el mercado, conseguí una lata de atún en salsa de tomates, le agregué una cebolla, cebollín y algunos condimentos ¡Estuvo realmente delicioso!

Sin embargo, las cosas no terminaron allí. Una vez que bailé hasta quedar exhausta, mi hermana me escribió y me pidió que la ayudase a lavar su ropa, ya que se encuentra con gripe. Luego de bañarme y almorzar, le hice ese favor... pero, mi energía no era mucha, porque el baile la consumió casi toda ¡Aún así, no me arrepiento de bailar! Para cuando mi hermana volvió de su trabajo, toda su ropa se hallaba lavada, así que, puede descansar tranquilamente y recuperarse de su malestar.
A pesar de que no pude salir al centro, como lo había planeado, considero que fue un día bastante productivo en cuanto a mi movilidad. Es verdad, me siento cansada, pero muy revitalizada de espíritu. Seguiré bailando uno que otro día a la semana, hasta puede ser que me anime por fin a aprenderme las coreografías que me gusten 💞
