Hello everyone in this community! Thanks to some sales I made, I decided to invest the money in sewing supplies, since it had been quite a while since I'd sewn and I couldn't start several projects I had in mind because I was missing something. Since I didn't want to go too far, I decided to venture to a fabric store that's relatively close to where I live (at least closer than the other stores), but when I got there, I didn't find what I needed. So, instead of just buying any old fabric or going home completely defeated, I decided to head downtown, where I knew I'd find a wider selection.

Not only did I find the fabric I was looking for, but also the right colors, as well as some stuffing. I've wanted to buy stuffing for ages, so I think it's the "golden find" haha. There were so many fabrics I loved, but I'm very methodical, so I stuck to the list and only bought the essentials. As for the thread, I only got one white one, since the one I have is cracking at the base (the plastic seems to have given out over the years) and I was afraid everything would get tangled up at some point. I would have liked to buy zippers, buttons, and other things, but I didn't expect the prices to be so high haha. Even so, I brought home a good haul of fabric supplies.

With the rest of my money, I went to a small shop near where I live. The lady is very kind. Every time I buy something from her, we chat a lot, so I like to buy things to contribute to her business, even if it's just a little. I bought some jingle bells and sequins for some Christmas hats I'm making. All in all, it was a productive day. I'm super excited to use my materials. ¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Gracias a unas ventas que realicé, decidí invertir lo ganado en material de costura, ya que tenía bastante tiempo sin hacer eso y varios proyectos que tengo en mente, no podía empezarlos por falta de alguna cosa. Como no quería ir muy lejos, decidí aventurarme a ir a un centro textil que queda relativamente cerca de dónde vivo (al menos más cerca que los demás locales), pero al llegar, no encontré lo que necesitaba, así que, en lugar de llevarme cualquier tela o regresar a casa totalmente vencida, preferí dirigirme al centro de la ciudad, donde sabía que hallaría mayor variedad.

No sólo encontré la tela que estaba buscando, sino los colores apropiados, así como algo de relleno. Quería comprar relleno desde hace muchísimo tiempo, así que pienso que es la "adquisición de oro" jaja Habían muchas telas que me encantaron, pero soy muy metódica, me apegué a la lista y compré sólo lo primordial. En cuanto a los hilos, sólo me lleve uno blanco, ya que el que tengo se está partiendo su base (el plástico parece que se venció con los años) y me daba temor que se enredase todo en algún momento. Me hubiese gustado comprar cierres, botones y entre otras cosas, pero no me esperaba con que los precios estuvieran tan altos jaja Aún así, me traje un buen botín textil a casa.

Con el resto de dinero que me quedaba, fui a una pequeña tienda que queda cerca de donde vivo. La señora es muy amable. Cada vez que le compro, hablamos un montón, así que me gusta comprarle cosas para contribuir en su negocio, así sea un poco. Compré algunos cascabeles y lentejuelas para algunos gorros navideños que estoy elaborando. A pesar de todo, fue un día productivo. Estoy súper ansiosa por usar mis materiales.
