My Actifit Report Card: February 18 2026 - Time to get moving! ✨
ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello everyone in this community! Today I decided to go downtown after spending the whole week indoors working on my sewing projects. I wasn't entirely sure where I'd go, and since I needed to buy a few things, I made a list to avoid impulse buys. Walking to the subway station doesn't bother me, since it's a steep hill and downhill, so it's not tiring because I have good shoes; although, the noise of the cars passing by is what does end up stressing me out, haha.

Luckily, a subway station was just leaving when I arrived, however, the air conditioning wasn't working, so it was a somewhat uncomfortable ride until my body temperature recovered from the walk. When I got downtown, I started comparing prices, since I always try to buy everything I need and more, if I have any left over. I managed to buy the things I had marked on my list, which were for personal use, so I was very happy about that, since I had a backlog of those kinds of items to buy and I've always thought it's better to restock as I go 😅

After that, I sat down to lunch in a plaza while watching people go by. Sometimes I buy something to eat on the street, but I preferred to use my budget for other things, so I prepared my food before going out. When I regained my energy, I couldn't resist and ended up going into my favorite fabric store, buying a small piece of fabric whose print I absolutely loved and which I'll use to make one of the bags I've wanted to make for months.
On my way home, I ended up striking up a conversation with a lawyer who talked to me about his profession the whole way. I'm not very talkative, nor do I initiate conversations with other people, but when I notice that someone wants to talk to me or tell me about their life and I feel willing to listen (because sometimes you can feel dizzy after walking so much), I have no problem doing so. You always end up learning something or reflecting ✨
