My Actifit Report Card: June 22 2025
Hello, my lovely friends.

Rainy morning, routine changes but heart doesn't (White house)
Today, I woke up with the intention to go for a morning run as usual. But as soon as I stepped out of bed, the first thing I heard was not the sound of birds chirping or the gentle wind, but a familiar sound from next door... which was the sound of rain. The rain had been pouring down non-stop since early morning, causing my plan to run and exercise outdoors to be put on hold. But even though the weather was not cooperating, I would not give up on my health. Today, I had to change my plan to exercise at home instead by doing aerobics and jumping jacks alternately. If you want to be healthy, let's start exercising together this morning. Start by listening to upbeat music that helps energize your body. Then, put on your favorite socks and follow the aerobics tutorial videos on YouTube with determination. Open the exercise application on your smartphone to help record the duration and various statistics while exercising.
The body moves but the mind is distracted
In addition to dancing to the movements on the TV screen or YouTube, there is one thing that I always encounter when exercising at home. It is the thoughts in my mind that tend to wander far away. My mind tends to think only of pending housework or unfinished work, and I am so distracted that sometimes I feel like my concentration has really slipped away from the present. But I try to bring myself back to my senses and intend to successfully exercise this morning. I admit that exercising at home is more distracting than going out to run and enjoy the natural atmosphere by the river or on the village roads that I am familiar with. When I do aerobics, my mind is focused on the TV screen because I have to look at the dance moves correctly. But when it is time to run in place to exercise, my mind becomes even more distracted because my thoughts tend to revolve around pending work or work that has not yet been completed. I have to try to bring my mind back to focus on the present, which is exercising, until I have run for a while.
Then I glanced at the clock again. The numbers on the exercise application showed the time I had intended. So I stopped exercising and turned to do my housework. At that moment, the rain was still pouring down non-stop.
Daily routine on a rainy day
After finishing exercising, I walked straight into the kitchen and started grinding fragrant coffee beans. And started making hot coffee for me and my husband, one cup each. After finishing the coffee, it was time to prepare breakfast for my daughter and prepare breakfast for my mother-in-law and feed her breakfast gently. This morning, I was very lucky that the tap water had started to flow. Although it was flowing slowly, I had reserved the water very well so that my mother could take a shower this morning. My husband and I helped lift my mother out of bed carefully. Then, we pushed her in a wheelchair to take a shower in the bathroom. After she was finished taking a shower and getting dressed, I helped my mother do basic physical therapy to relax her muscles and let her rest fully. Even though this morning we had to change our exercise plan and there were some minor complications due to the weather, in the end, everything went well.

Break through the rain and sprinkle kindness
Today is another day when the calendar turns and comes with various feelings that rush into my heart. Confusion and chaos are forming inside. However, life's mission must continue without stopping because this is the only way that I have income to support myself right now. Writing articles has become a part of my daily routine that no matter what happens, articles must always be created. It is like the breath that drives my life to move forward.
This morning, I had an important appointment to bring bamboo shoots to help with a funeral in the village. However, it seems that nature is not cooperating at all. It has been raining continuously since early morning, which has greatly reduced my motivation to go out and do activities. However,
I am well aware that duty always comes first and I must do my best.
The beginning of today's mission occurred when the host of the funeral contacted me to buy bamboo shoots from our garden. When I found out that he was a villager who knew my mother-in-law very well, my husband decided to cut the bamboo shoots for me without charging me any fee. This was not just a purchase, but a gesture of generosity to help with the merit-making in the village, showing the bond and kindness that the people in the community have for each other. Even though the rain was pouring down heavily, my husband and I still went out to do our daily tasks without giving up. Before cutting the bamboo shoots, we fed the animals in the garden as usual. It was a routine that we had been doing for a long time until it became familiar and an inseparable part of our daily life. After feeding the animals, we did not hesitate to prepare two fertilizer sacks to put the bamboo shoots that we would cut today.
Amidst the rain that fell continuously, both of us worked hard to cut the bamboo shoots. The sound of the rain hitting the leaves and the umbrellas was deafening, but it did not reduce our determination at all. By the time we finished our task, we were soaked all over, but deep down, we felt happy and contented that we were able to do something useful for others. It was not just cutting the bamboo shoots, but also being able to help lighten the burden and show kindness to each other when the other party needed help.
When the two sacks of bamboo shoots filled with kindness and determination were ready, we did not hesitate to drive our beloved car to deliver the bamboo shoots to the temple in the village. This completed our daily task perfectly. Even though it was just a small activity on a rainy day, we did our best.
For today, I have to say goodbye.
My friends, see you again next time. Thank you for following and supporting me. Thank you. β€οΈππ
